Horseback Trail Rides into the Beartooths

The Custer National Forest/ Beartooth Mountains are
one of the most spectacular places on earth. The
terrain differs from most others even within our
state. The trail system is vast and offers a great
many choices. It has been said that for a true western
experience one needs to travel the region on horse.

This ride is a very full day with the best available of everything. We transport you to the camp senia trail head at the end of the west fork from there we travel up onto the top of Red Lodge plateau. We will ride across the top with spectacular views of everywhere, (on a clear day it is said you can see Canada) Lunch will be provided and we will continue to ride across and then descend down into the Red Lodge creek drainage near Luther. At the ending trail head we will serve additional snacks and goodies then take you back to your vehicle. You will have traveled about 17 miles over 8 to 9 hour period. This is one of our personal favorites and ultra super spectacular time.
