Horseback Trail Rides into the Beartooths

The Beartooth Mountains are one some of the most beautiful places in the world. The terrain differs from almost all others. The trail system is vast and offers a great many choices for the outdoor enthusiast. A great many people believe that to have a true western experience one needs to see the mountains from the back of a horse.

What we Offer

We offer full & half day trips into the mountains and will select the trail we will travel based upon conversation with you. Once we talk about your group, their ages, experience, and needs, we will select a trail and decide which horse and saddle to match you to. All of our trail rides include a picnic lunch, water, and snacks. Should you have a special occasion or request we can work with you to make it a memorable time.

Trail Ride Horses & Guides

Our horses are well behaved and suited for riders of different levels. Our guides and assistants are seasoned and have traveled all the trails in the region. The saddles are well used but kept in good repair to suit the horse and individual rider. Each rider will have a set of saddlebags which contain a rain slicker, water, and other essentials for the day. The guide will have a first aid kit, safety equipment, and whatever else the day requires.

The Goal

Our goal is to provide you with a terrific days horseback trip that will remain in your heart for many years to come. We do limit the number of guests on each ride for safety reasons. We also have age restrictions because of the inherent risk of trail travel on horses.

Rates

Full day trip { average 7 hrs }.....$185.00 per horse
Half day trip { average 4 hrs }....$105.00 per horse
Minimum 2 riders/max 6 persons { some exceptions }
No riders under 6 years of age/size dependent.

****Special request rides with meal preparation are available and can be discussed when booking the ride. We can truly customize the trip to individual needs and requests. Tell us the occasion or the idea and see what we can come up with. You can fish the mountain lake if you obtain a temporary permit, however we cannot instruct you as how to fish.****

Drop Camps are available by request and we can discuss the specifics with you. We are permitted for the entire Beartooth front.

Pack trips are also available by reservation and advance planning. Call us to discuss your ideas and requests. We will endeavor to meet your needs.
